The course emphasizes proper body mechanics, therapist safety, and the development of efficient, effective pressure without excessive force. Participants will explore common postural and compensatory patterns and learn to adapt techniques based on individual client presentation, including indications and contraindications. Instruction includes lecture, demonstration, and supervised hands-on practice, with a focus on commonly affected regions such as the neck, shoulders, low back, and hips. The role of the nervous system in chronic tension and appropriate therapist response within the professional scope will also be addressed.
