  • What are the admission requirements?
    ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Cornerstone Holistic is an equal opportunity school. All applicants will be considered for enrollment regardless of age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, handicap or religion. Each applicant must meet the following requirements for enrollment: Be eighteen years of age or older Two character references Be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED is acceptable) Be able to understand and speak English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Be self-motivated Be organized Able to study independently Students are selected based on integrity, physical ability, emotional maturity, resilience, as well as commitment and ability to complete the full program. Passage of the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) is required to become licensed in North Carolina.
  • How long does the program take to complete?
    Full-Time Program Our full-time program offers flexibility to accommodate your busy lifestyle. Students in this program attend school from Monday to Friday, following a schedule from 9 am to 2:30 pm. All our classes are structured in clock hours, where each clock hour is equivalent to a sixty-minute block of time, including a minimum of 50 minutes of instruction, with appropriate breaks. This 24-week program is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of individuals with various responsibilities, making it an excellent choice for parents who can attend classes while their kids are in school or anyone who wishes to continue working to support themselves or their families while embarking on a new career journey. Evening Studies & Part-Time Program We understand that many individuals may have daytime commitments, so we've created an Evening/Part-time Studies Program to cater to your needs. This program covers all the courses required for our 625-hour diploma program, and it's offered annually. The Evening Program kicks off every July and allows students to complete the entire 625-hour diploma curriculum within 37 weeks. Classes are conducted on Monday and Wednesday from 5 pm to 9 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 5:30 pm. For those seeking a more flexible option, we also provide a Part-time Studies Program, commencing each January. This program spans 50 weeks, giving you the time you need to cover all required material. Classes for this program are scheduled on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 5 pm to 9 pm.
