Lauire McCoy, owner and founder of Cornerstone Holistic Institute LLC is a graduate of the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy. She is a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Therapy Approved provider for Continuing Education through the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork. On top of Lauire’s daily commitments to Cornerstone Holistic Institute LLC, she also presents at various workshops and small groups on topics ranging from business and bodywork to self care. She has helped educate and mentor therapists of various disciplines. She has helped them learn the importance of integrative bodywork, body mechanics, orthopedic assessment, intake skills, as well as the ability to apply clinical reasoning practices to their businesses. “Each one teaches one” has been her career-long motto.

 

Lauire’s 19 years of experience have allowed her to work at all levels of competitive athletics. As a licensed massage therapist in Florida, she worked with several athletes that competed with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Lauire was also very committed to her community. She donated much of her time speaking to various amateur tennis clubs, run clubs, golf associations and breast cancer awareness groups . She would educate her patients on various tips and techniques in self care and injury treatment. Lauire enjoyed teaching workshops about massage benefits, corrective exercises and nutrition to her community.
